JARL回覆如下：

Dear sir ,

I might not be clear enough in my earlier e-mail, but Japanese radio authority do not
recognize the amateur license of Taiwan, as there is no reciprocal agreement
between Japan and Taiwan.

We can help you only if you have a license of the countries with which Japan has
the reciprocal agreement. i.e. USA, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, and so on.

I am sorry to say that, but that is current situation.

Thank you for your understanding.

去日本考.... 很多地方不用事先申請走進去考就行...
不過當然要他們有辦

他是有提到可以參加不定期在日本舉辦的ARRL VEC exam
我還在研究這個是要怎麼考，考試用英文還日文，考題怎麼出
因為很想在日本合法的使用D-STAR repeater

考英文呀.... 東京都接受走進去就考的不需事先申請不過當然要當天有考試
會配米國呼號可在日本正常使用

我查了一下ARRL在日本有蠻多團體在辦考試
有東京的，仙台的，橫濱的，ˋ札幌的

另外我找到一篇中文關於ARRL VE 的解說
這是PDF，檔名是亂碼，不用驚慌下載看就是囉~
